hcedesign
is a web design firm which offers services related to the
design, construction and maintenance of websites. It is currently
a one-man freelance operation starring HCE.
Please note that we do not personally offer web hosting or
domain registration, but we can certainly arrange that through
a third party on your behalf. Also note that we do not currently
offer database-driven e-commerce solutions.
What we
do offer is all the work involved in creating a complete
website, including graphic design, image processing, structural
as well as functional design and of course the web programming.
Our involvement
does not have to end when the website is finished if you need
help to keep them updated. We can either teach you how to
update them yourself or we can do it for you, by instructions
received over the phone or by e-mail.
Extended
services | We also offer translation services (English-Norwegian
and Norwegian-English). If you prefer to write your site's
content yourself rather than hiring a professional copywriter,
then we can also assist in shaping the text content if needed.
Finally, we can also offer digital
photography for images intended to be used on the site
(no photo printouts).
Means
of production | hcedesign's creations are born on IBM-compatible
PCs. Other equipment used includes scanner, digital camera,
and audio and video capture cards (CD, MD, VHS, VCD, DVD).
As far
as software is concerned, we use mainly Adobe® and Macromedia®
products like Photoshop®, ImageReady®, Illustrator®,
Premiere®, Dreamweaver®, Fireworks®, Flash™
and Director®, as well as Sonic Foundry®'s Sound Forge®
for audio editing.
